My dear husband has been super-supportive of me and my journey toward self-acceptance. Since he's a mathematician, it's easy for him to see the logic fail in things I read to him. Well, now he's even been finding things on his own - becoming an educated consumer and all that. I'm so proud of him!
Anyway, here's the article he came across today, on a sports-devoted (no less!) Web site. Go them! The responses in the comments just make me shake my head, though. They totally missed the point.

And I'm guessing, from what I've seen of them, at least one of the Williams sisters would fail the BMI because they're built and womanly. I wouldn't say they're fat, but they're definitely not skinny-minnies. I wonder what the commenters would say to that? I bet the girls could run circles around most of them!
